DYD Monthly Meeting Recap - 11/15/17

The November monthly meeting featured our headline speaker, former State Rep. and candidate for GA Sec. of State, Dr. Dee Dawkins-Haigler. In addition to Dr. Dawkins-Haigler, the meeting featured comments from the following elected and candidates:

• Doraville City Councilwoman-elect Stephe Koontz
• GA State School Superintendent candidate Otha Thornton
• Clarkston City Councilwoman-elect YT Bell
• GA House District 89 candidate Bee Nguyen
• DeKalb County Commissioner (Super District 7) Gregory Adams
• GA HD 86 State Representative (D-Stone Mountain) Michele Henson

​As you can see, we had a jam-packed, information filled meeting, and the house was packed at Avondale Pizza Cafe.
